VIP Hospitality

8th to 14th March 2017

Exclusive VIP access and hospitality to the 2017 Tirreno Adriatico which takes place between Camaiore and San Bndetto Del Trento. Also known as the “Race of the Two Seas” Tirreno Adriatico is a stage race across 7 stages between the Tyrrhenian and Adriatic coasts in the early part of the 2017 UCI World Tour cycling season.

The 52nd edition of the Tirreno-Adriatico takes place from 8 to 14 March 2017. The 2017 Tirreno Adriatico route, as in 2016 features two TT stages, one for teams and one for individuals, two sprint stages, two for medium mountain stages and a mountain stage with finish on the Terminillo. This is where Nairo Quintana won a spectacular stage in the snow, sealing his final triumph in the Corsa dei Due Mari.

The Tirreno Adriatico is used by many of the favourites as preparation for the Milan San Remo which takes place on Saturday March 18th. VIP access and Hospitality for the Milan San Remo.

The winner’s trophy of the Tirreno–Adriatico is one of the most recognisable in professional cycling as it is a large gilded trident. It is officially named the Sea Master Trophy. The general classification jersey is blue.

In recent years the race regularly includes mountain stages in the Apennines and many Grand Tours specialists use it as an early-season test towards the stage races later in the year. Tour de France winners Vincenzo Nibali, Cadel Evans and Alberto Contador feature on the roll of honour of the Tirreno. Nairo Quintana won the 50th edition in 2015.

VIP experiences and stage hospitality...
As official tour operator of the 2017 Tirreno Adriatico we are pleased to offer you some fantastic special VIP access options on every stage which you can purchase as stand alone tickets without hotel or travel package:

Start Village (VIP start village access):
The 2017 Tirreno-Adriatico entourage and organisation will set up with the team buses within an enclosed and restricted area. An expo type village is created at the start. It is usually here that everyone who is linked in any way to the Tirreno-Adriatico like TV, sponsors and celebrities from the cycling world will show themselves. Also local companies will be keen to show off their wares. Your VIP passes will give you access to the village and the rider’s paddock. If you are into collecting autographs, this is the best place for it. It is in the Start Village where the athletes assemble in the morning along with sponsors and organisation and management before they set off.

MEET THE RIDERS IN THIS ELECTRIC ATMOSPHERE!
When you arrive in the start stage town, the Tirreno Club staff will welcome you. You will receive a day pass which gives you access to the Hospitality Area with snack/coffee bar service available. You will meet the riders and experience the exciting pre-race atmosphere. The highlight of the day is that you will get up close with the riders and you can mingle with the racers and team directors and other people close to the inner world of cycling. Many people really enjoy the start village access due to the fact that you get very close to actual riders and you get a good insight into the inner workings of the 2017 Tirreno-Adriatico.

Club Truck finish line hospitality – no cycling gear permitted:
The Tirreno-Adriatico sets up a limited number of areas located on course within the final portion of the stage for special access called Club Truck. Guests of the Club will arrive at the finish a little before the cyclists, and will have access to the Club Truck, reserved for the top stars and located in a privileged area near the finish line. The Truck will offer snack/coffee bar service, and TV screens will broadcast the final kilometres of the race until the riders come into view. Every guest will receive the exclusive Tirreno VIP bag. After the finish we will return to the hotel and have the evening meal.

A day in an official car (Drive experience):
Our most popular VIP option is to spend the whole day on the course during the event. You will meet your driver at the start village and drive the course in front of the caravan. A packed lunch is included on the way and at the stage finish you will enjoy finish hospitality in the finish hospitality bus.

Your day in the car will include:

Thursday March 9, 2017 – Camaiore to Pomarance:
The second stage takes place between Camaiore and Pomarance with four climbs along the route. The last climb is particularly suitable for the opportunists. In 2016 Zdenek Stybar was first to this finish line ahead of the World Champion Peter Sagan and Edvald Boasson Hagen.

Friday March 10, 2017 – Monterotondo Marittimo – Montalto di Castro:
The third stage starts from Monterotondo Marittimo. The first section is very fast and it feautures some medium mountain climbs which will not drop the sprinters so we expect a sprint finish in Montalto di Castro. The talented Colombian sprinter, Fernando Gaviria, was first to this finish line only nine months ago.
