Paris Roubaix 2017 VIP access, hospitality, and hotel accommodation
9th April 2017What an exciting event the 2016 Paris Roubaix was!. Fast and furious, incredible speed and an unexpected but deserved winner in Austrailian Matt Hayman of Orica Green Edge. “The queen of classics” is a formidable and exciting race, considered by many to be the best one day classic cycling race to watch.
VIP access and hospitality for the 2017 Paris – Roubaix is now available. You will see the start of the ‘Hell of the North’ in Compiegne followed by a viewing point en-route plus the finish in the Roubaix Velodrome.
Paris – Roubaix; ‘the Hell of the North’ with all its cobbled sections is one of the most iconic bike races on the cycling calendar. The race starts in Compiegne and after a fairly uneventful first section, the ‘secteurs paves’ come hard and fast. In recent years the racing has been mega-fast due to the fine weather conditions but that’s not to say that 2017 is going to be the same.
To follow this iconic bike race in comfort, we now offer exclusive VIP access and hospitality options.
The 2016 edition of Paris-Roubaix...
Matthew Hayman won what must be his biggest victory by far after a long and dedicated domestique career and after Stuart O’Grady in 2007 he was the second Australian to do so. At 37, the Orica Greenedge rider upset all the favourites including four-times winner Tom Boonen who finished in second place. The win was all the more remarkable as early escapee Hayman, who had already twice made it in the top ten of the Queen of Classics, had broken his arm only five weeks ago and had hardly raced since. Briton Ian Stannard finished third ahead of breakaway companions Sep Vanmarcke of Belgium and Norway’s Edvald Boasson Hagen.
