The Muur van Geraardsbergen makes its return and the start of the 2017 Ronde van Vlaanderen is in Antwerp rather than Brugge. If you would like to book hospitality and a hotel stay then we offer the hotel NH Belfort in Ghent city centre. The hotel is ideal to book for 1, 2 or 3 nights with our fantastic range of VIP and hospitality options including transport from Ghent to and from the hospitality areas to experience the 2017 Tour of Flanders in style.

VIP – ANTWERP START – £129 per person:
Be right in the heart of the action in the new start town of Antwerp. Experience the unique start of the 101st Tour of Flanders from a front row position. You will start your day with a VIP breakfast on the river Schelde on the luxury boat, the Ocean Diva.

VIP – A DAY IN AN OFFICIAL TOUR OF FLANDERS CAR – PRICE ON REQUEST:
You will meet your driver who is a former pro cyclist in a pre-arranged location of your choice. You will first of all have the VIP breakfast on the river Schelde on luxury boat, the Ocean Diva before enjoying access to the team zone where the teams prepare for the race and access to the VIP start area in front of the start podium. You will then get in the car and have Champagne and extensive XXL-packed lunch on the way. You will enjoy this first class race experience in an official Flanders Classics race car on the course before a prestigious drinks reception after the race at the town hall in Oudenaarde with lots of prominent Belgian cycling personalities in attendance. Return transport to the start location is also provided.

VIP – BUS ‘START TO FINISH’ – £519 per person:
Your guide on the bus will be a former pro cyclist and after enjoying a VIP breakfast on the river Schelde on luxury boat, the Ocean Diva, you will have access to the team zone where the teams prepare for the race and to the VIP start area in front of the start podium. After the start you will set off with a VIP-coach and en-route you will have Champagne and an extensive XXL-packed lunch. You will experience the race and view several LIVE passages of the riders along the route. Your day finishes with an excellent viewing position of the finish from the VIP grandstands of Flanders Classics Club in Oudenaarde followed by a prestigious drinks reception after the race at the Flanders Classics Club and return transport to the start location.

3X OUDE KWAREMONT – £395 per person:
From Oudenaarde your VIP shuttle awaits and will take you to ‘De Oude Kwaremont’ up until 10.45. Once there you will have a welcome with Champagne and snacks followed by a buffet lunch and open bar. You will see the riders of the women’s Tour of Flanders come past once and the Elite Men 3 times. Throughout you will have access to the open bar and large screens to watch the race live. You will have a personalised table with seating and then an extensive drinks reception with live music after the race before taking the shuttle back to Oudenaarde.

DE MUUR (THE WALL) – £270 per person:
This a a VIP experience full of ambiance in Flanders Classics’ VIP-tent on the Muur van Geraardsbergen. Top cycling entertainment. with a welcome with aperitif and snacks before watching the women’s Tour of Flanders come past once and the Elite Men 3 times. Includes n extensive BBQ with salads and continuous open bar. You can follow the race on large TV screens so you can follow every second of the race. You will get a unique Ronde van Vlaanderen cycling cap, see some fantastic entertainment and have access to the VIP-parking.

FLANDERS CLASSICS CLUB – £265 per person:
This is a stylish VIP-formula right next to the finish line in Oudenaarde. Experience the finish of the 101st edition in style from a front row position. On arrival, enjoy a welcome by Flanders Classics hostesses with drinks and snacks and get stuck into the buffet lunch and open bar. You can follow the race live on large TV screens and you will see the finish of both the women’s and the men’s races. Extensive drinks reception with live music performance after the race finish.

VIP – LUNCH STADHUIS (TOWN HALL) OUDENAARDE – £395:
Welcome by Flanders Classics hostesses and with Champagne and snacks in the beautiful, historic town hall of Oudenaarde before you enjoy a four course lunch with exclusive wines served at your table. There are TV screens to follow the race live and you will view the finish of the men’s and women’s races from the Flanders Classics Club at the finish. You will have an exclusive view of the finish of the 101st Ronde van Vlaanderen Elite Men from the honorary grand stands. After the race, there is a prestigious drinks reception in the town hall of Oudenaarde, in the presence of the Mayor of Oudenaarde en other prominent guests.

The Hotel:

**** NH Hotel Gent – Tour of Flanders:
The NH Gent Belfort hotel puts leisure travellers right in the heart of the city. A 5-minute walk takes you to sights like the cathedral, castle and belfry, plus you’ve got all the bars and restaurants you need just outside the door. 
Rooms vary in style – some have a classic look with soft carpets, while others have teamed a hardwood floor with contemporary colours. Breakfast is served in the breakfast room, where waffles and pancakes feature among a long line-up of dishes. Your stay here will be on bed and breakfast basis and you will stay in a standard New Style room.

As well as a bar and restaurant for relaxing, there’s a terrace that’s lovely to sit out at during the warmer months and a sauna in the  fitness area. For special occasions, there is an amazing Medieval vaulted cellar.

Other facilities:

Friday 31st of March:
If you have chosen to join us for 3 nights and make a nice weekend in Ghent out of it then please make your way to the 4 star Hotel NH Belfort in Ghent today.

Saturday 1st of April:
If you have chosen to join us for 2 nights then please make your way to the 4 star Hotel NH Belfort in Ghent today. If you arrived yesterday then after a leisurely breakfast, the beautiful town of Ghent is there for you to explore today.

Sunday 2nd of April:
Last year the 100th Tour of Flanders was won in spectacular fashion by reigning World and European champion Peter Sagan, leaving Fabian Cancellara and Sep Vanmarcke in his dust as he solo’ed to the win. The women’s race was won by Lizzie Armistead. Today is the day of the 101st Tour of Flanders Professional race. We offer various VIP and hospitality access options today. You can add these when you make your hotel booking. Based on which one you choose, we include transport from Ghent to either the start in Antwerp or to the location of the finish; Oudenaarde.

Option 1 – Antwerp and Oudenaarde transport:
You will have this transport included when you book the following hospitality options:

  • VIP Antwerp start – £129 per person
  • A day on the course in an official Tour of Flanders car – Price on request
  • VIP Bus Start to Finish – £519 per person
  • VIP Bus and 3 x Oude Kwaremont – £550 per person

We will set off very early to get to Antwerp and park near the location of the VIP start village. After watching the start we will move to Oudenaarde where you can stay, or take the free shuttle over to ‘de Oude Kwaremont’ – the last shuttle bus will leave from Oudenaarde at 12.30 (please note that we may not get back in time to catch the 12.30 cut off in which case you need to stay in Oudenaarde).

Daily schedule:

  1. Ghent to Antwerp – Collection at 06.00 from Ghent
  2. Antwerp to Oudenaarde – Collection from Antwerp at 11.00 to go to Oudenaarde
  3. Oudenaarde to Ghent at the end of the day – Collection at 18.30 from Oudenaarde

Option 2 – Ghent to Oudenaarde transport:
You will have this transport included when you book the following hospitality options:

  • 3 x Oude Kwaremont – £395 per person
  • Flanders Classics Club – £265 per person
  • VIP – Lunch stadhuis (town hall) Oudenaarde – £395

Daily schedule:

  1. Ghent to Oudenaarde – Collection from Ghent at 08.00
  2. Oudenaarde to Ghent at the end of the day – Collection at 18.30

We will take you to Oudenaarde from Ghent. There will be large TV screens, plentiful food, a bar, everything you need for a day at the bike races. There will also be a free shuttle to the Oude Kwaremont which runs until 12.30 where you will be able to see the riders of the men’s race come past 3 times. You will also get the chance to see the women’s 2017 Tour of Flanders, so impressively won by Lizzie Armistead last year.

Oudenaarde schedule of race day events:

  • 11.00: start of Tour of Flanders for women in the Oudenaarde marketplace
  • 12.25: Passage women on the Wolvenberg
  • 12.30: Passage Tour of Flanders men at the market in Oudenaarde
  • 13.10: Passage Eikenberg and Wolvenberg
  • 13.15: Passage cobblestone zone Ruiterstraat/Kerkgate
  • 14.45: Finish women at Minderbroedersstraat in Oudenaarde
  • 15.10: Passage men Koppenberg
  • 16.10: Finish men at Minderbroedersstraat in Oudenaarde

Monday 3rd of April:
Today is departure day so please check out of the hotel.

Single travellers and twin to share:
We welcome single travellers on our tours and holidays as it is a great way to join a like-minded group of people and you will make lots of new friends. If you would like to join our group as a single traveller we can offer you two options.
A single room or if you want to avoid the single supplement then you can make use of our ‘twin to share’ option. We will pair you up with another traveller (of the same sex) and you can enjoy the event without having to pay extra.
