Tour of Flanders 2018 (Sportive & Pro race watch)

29th March to 2nd April 2018

Sports Tours International offers transport and accommodation for the 2018 Tour of Flanders as well as guaranteed entry and support for the Tour of Flanders RVV Cyclo Sportive. This classic cycling race is famous for featuring short, sharp climbs. The race starts from Antwerp and includes the famous Muur van Geraardsbergen which returned last year after a 5 year absence. The final section of the race follows the usual finishing circuit with the Oude Kwaremont and Paterberg. We support all 4 distance options which includes the opportunity to cycle the full 230 km from Antwerp.

What a race the 2017 edition of the Tour of Flanders was, with very nice weather but disappointment for pre-race favourites Tom Boonen and Peter Sagan. There was a Belgian winner and number 2 in Philippe Gilbert and Greg van Avermaet, with Quickstep’s Nikki Terpstra completing the podium. Tom Owen from The Telegraph traveled with us, please see his report here.

The 2018 Tour of Flanders weekend will offer you the opportunity to ride in the Tour of Flanders RVV Cyclo amateur event called We Ride Flanders on Saturday before watching the Pros on the Sunday. We accommodate you taking part in all RVV Cyclo-Sportive distances including the new 180km and the full distance event which will both start in Antwerp.

We also offer a fantastic selection of VIP and hospitality options for Tour of Flanders pro Race day which can be booked as ticket only with your travel package or with a Ghent city centre hotel for 1, 2 or 3 nights (transport to start and finish of hospitality included if booked with our hotel).

Travel options:

  • Weekend tour with airport transfers from Brussels airport – Thursday or Friday arrival
  • Self-drive or own arrival with hotel for 2, 3 or 4 nights – Thursday or Friday arrival
  • 4 star Ghent city centre hotel for 1, 2 or 3 nights with VIP hospitality tickets and transport

Tour of Flanders VIP access and hospitality:
The Muur van Geraardsbergen makes its return and proved to be the place where the winner, Philippe Gilbert made his breakaway in 2017. From 2017 the start of the 2018 Ronde van Vlaanderen is in Antwerp rather than Brugge. We offer a fantastic range of official Tour of Flanders VIP and hospitality options, available through Sports Tours International as a stand alone option or if you book one of our weekend tours. If you are not on one of tours and you would like to book hospitality and a hotel stay then we also offer a hotel in Ghent city centre and transport from Ghent to and from the hospitality areas – More information here.
