The 100th GIRO D’ITALIA 2017

VIP One Day Experiences

The Giro d’Italia will have its 100th edition in 2017 and the Big Start will be in Sardinia on Friday May 5th. The race will include 6 sprint stages, 8 medium mountains stages, 5 high mountain stages and 2 ITT’s including the penultimate stage from Monza to the Milan Cathedral.

The iconic Stelvio Pass is the 2017 Cima Coppi. Sports Tours International are an official VIP Tour Operator for the 2017 Giro d’Italia and therefore we have some fantastic VIP options available. From the Big Start to the finish 3 weeks later  in Milan the daily options are: start and finish-line hospitality, a day in an official Giro d’Italia car and a Giro Helicopter experience.

As an official Tour Operator of the 2017 Giro d’Italia, we have access to some excellent one day VIP experiences on every stage of the Giro. On every stage, we can offer a selection of Start Town Hospitality, Finish Area Hospitality and Drive Experiences. On selected stages there is also the opportunity for the Ultimate Giro viewing sensation – The Helicopter Experience.

Start Zone Hospitality:
Each morning the Giro starts in a new town, a new stage beckons. In each start town a village is created where the riders will sign on for the day’s stage, the sponsors will exhibit their goods (and give away a mountain of freebies – from biscuits to hats, from tins of tuna ! to baseball caps) and the Peloton will depart for the day’s racing. Here the team busses will be parked up and set ready for last minute bike adjustments, riders to relax and prepare and for teams to work out last minute strategies. You will be part of this , the inner workings of one the most prestigious Professional Sports events in the world, and one of, if  not THE most, challenging pro-cycle races events.

Every stage has slightly different considerations for the riders, be it a windy piece of road, the top of a mountain, a bunch sprint finish or a circuit of a town, there is always something to get excited about, and you will be part of that.
