Watch the final of the 2017 Tour de France unfold on the mountain roads of the Alps and the streets of Marseille.
This is a fully supported tour to ride and watch the 2017 Tour de France before seeing the winner being crowned on the final day in Paris. Spectators and cyclists will enjoy VIP hospitality on some of the mountain stages and cyclists will like the opportunity to tackle famous Tour de France climbs like the Col d’Izoard, Col de Vars and the Col du Galibier.
You will be collected from Turin airport on arrival and from Marseille you will be taken to the TGV station or you can make your own way to your onward destination. Your tour vehicle will have a bike trailer especially designed to transport bikes fully assembled and there is also one of our customised minibuses on hand as a support vehicle for the various guided rides that we offer during the tour. Riders and spectators are welcome as we will offer a daily programme for both.
If you don’t want to travel with your own bike, why not make use of our bike rental option? We have Trek bikes available with either Shimano 105 or Ultegra groupset for rental for use in the Alps. The bikes will be fitted on arrival in Guillestre and then collected back from you before you move onto Marseille.
Izoard finishline hospitality:
The Tour de France sets up a limited number of areas located on course within the final portion of the stage. These have names like Izoard and Galibier. Access to these areas is usually reserved and by invitation only. You will see famous ex-cyclists, sponsors and team guests. Typically these areas are within 200 metres or so of the finish line. There is also a spectator friendly elevated viewing area. You will be served with drinks and snacks and there is a big screen to watch the LIVE action as it unfolds. After watching the finish, you will celebrate the victory with Champagne.
