The 2018 Vuelta a Espana takes place from Saturday 25 August until Sunday 16 September. The 73rd edition of the Vuelta will start in Malaga and finish in Madrid. As an official VIP Tour Operator for the 2018 Vuelta a Espana, we are pleased to offer exclusive VIP hospitality access on every stage.
Chris Froome won the 72th Vuelta a España ahead of Vincenzo Nibali and Ilnur Zakarin. The British cyclist was in the lead from stage 3. The Vuelta a Espana gives us exciting racing in August and September 2018. As in previous editions, the Tour of Spain is characterised by lots and lots of climbing, making it a fantastic spectacle for cycling fans.
Course Summary – 2018 La Vuelta:
Running from Saturday August 25th to Sunday September 16th 2018, the Vuelta will be made up of 21 stages and will cover a total distance of 3,271.4 kilometres. The race will feature 6 flat stages, 2 flat stages with high-altitude finales stages, 6 hilly stages, 5 mountain stages and 2 individual time trial stages.

Closer to the event, you will receive a detailed itinerary with details of the exact location of the VIP finish area and how to obtain access. A day on the course in an official Vuelta a Espana car:
Spend a full day in the heart of the race in a car as you drive on the course ahead of the Caravan. Your day starts when your guide who is a former professional rider meets you at the official start village. You will have a guided visit of the Vuelta Village in the morning and you will enjoy a visit of the team preparation area. After the visit to the start village, get in the official car and drive on the course ahead of the Vuelta caravan. You will have lunch en-route and drive through all the crowds for a unique insider experience. When you arrive at the finish you will enjoy VIP hospitality to round of the day.
A day in an official car is available on all stages and the price is: £1019 per person.

The Grand Finish in Madrid:
Three weeks of intense, emotional racing come to an end in Madrid. This final, spectacular stage, takes place on an urban circuit that allows you to discover the many wonders and the festive atmosphere that the Spanish capital has to offer. Come and celebrate the final kilometres of this mythical race with the cyclists in ideally placed areas. This year, the riders will cross the finish-line for the first time at around 7 pm and again for the last time at around 8:30 pm.

At the finish, you will go to the exclusive VIP hospitality area located very close to the final stretch of the course with a view of the finish. Everyone will be served with drinks and snacks and there are are TVs to watch the LIVE action as it unfolds. After watching the finish, you will celebrate the victory with Champagne as riders arrive!

Live the Dream Ride (only included with our tours):
You will ride the stage route 2.5/3 hours ahead of the professional peloton, before crossing the finish line in front of cheering cycling fans. Stand on the Winner’s podium to have your picture taken and take home your very own slice of La Vuelta history. The amount of the route you will ride varies from stage to stage according to logistics. This is like having your very own Etapa de la Vuelta! Spectators will have podium pictures, and a guided tour of the technical area (TV and Media, anti-doping, podium etc).

At time of booking we require a non-refundable deposit per person plus any applicable entry fee. The balance of your travel package must be paid, at the latest, 12 weeks before departure to avoid the cancellation of your trip.
